The Oracle Bones Teaching Pack is the prefect resource for introducing Mandarin into your school. Combining language learning with history, the 10 progressive activities and support materials tell the story of how and why the Shang invented Chinese writing.

Kànkan Activity Pack

Before playing Kànkan, use the spot the difference activities to get children used to looking really carefully and discriminating between similar looking shapes and patterns. Pattern Pairs

About the game: This simple matching activity introduces children to 12 different structural patterns of Chinese characters. Players match each of the 48 pattern cards to a corresponding Chinese character card and use the answer sheet to check their pattern pairs. All character cards have English definitions on the back and more than 80% of these compound characters are from YCT level 1.
